This 15 second commercial uses Facebook metadata for a VR experience anyone can enjoy. It enables viewers to follow a performer clockwise or anti-clockwise by moving their phones or scrolling around the screen. I composed, performed, and recorded this quick jingle using a Fractal amp simulator, e-drums, and vocoder in my home studio and shot the video in 4k with a Nokia OZO 360º camera on a sound stage in Boston, MA.

TL: Monsters; BL: Crew watching; TR: Setting the lasers; MR: Making masks; BR: Playback.
I designed the story, set, costumes, lighting, and hired and directed a team to help build and paint the stage, weld and mount confetti cannons, wrangle some monsters, safely produce chemical reactions, assemble lasers and lighting, and run cameras and technology.

Vegemite is good on ya toast, salmon, or pasta!
This bumper ad shows how you can make three 5 second impressions within a 15 second window. I created a new slogan for an Australian staple and directed a short memorable spot by anthropomorphizing the product with mini hands and gestures.
In Australia I got to know some of the locals’ love for Vegemite and its most common way of being served: on buttered toast. I came to enjoy the salty flavor and tried adding it to other foods as well. Combining this with a common Aussie phrase “Good on ya” for when you do something nice, I created this spec spot to expand the way Vegemite can be eaten with different meals.
On set with the little Vegemite character.
I discovered years ago that adding little hands to inanimate objects make them come to life. I cast some actors in supporting roles and shot this with a food stylist and camera operator in Hollywood, CA.
